Dayspring Academy is a back to basics charter school caring for students
from Kindergarten to eighth grade.The school was established in 2000 as a
community-wide project in order to provide a private school atmosphere
in a public school setting.

We, at Dayspring Academy emphasize excellence
in academics on a very personalized level as well as a strong focus on the arts
including dance, drama, vocal technique, visual arts and instrument instruction.

It is our main mission at Dayspring Academy to teach our students how to learn and to
love learning. By including the arts, we provide our children with an understanding
of how each subject they experience relates to another, how each culture relates to
another and how the arts are the feelings and expression of each culture.

At all times Dayspring Academy aims to support family values and beliefs and to this end,
we endeavor to provide continual communication and interaction with the parents and guardians
with regard to all aspects of the students’ education and life.

We encourage interaction
between family, school, and the community. Dayspring Academy is more than a pleasant,
peaceful school, it is a learning environment based on interaction,love and support between
staff, student, family and community.
